Today as we keep our own Sabbath, let us find our own rest by focusing on Jesus, listening to his words and obeying them. To live as a Christian is to live with a God who is merciful. To live as a Christian then is to live under the lordship of Christ. There is no compatibility between a system of self-righteousness, spiritual pride, and the true gospel of repentance, humility, grace, and faith.
