Isaiah 11:1-10
Key Verse 11:1 “A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse; from his roots a Branch will bear fruit.”
1. How and why did God judge Israel? (1:4, 9:14,19) What was God’s hope for the remnant of Israel? (10:20-21)
2. Who is Jesse? (cf. Matthew 1:6) Who does the shoot from the stump of Jesse refer to? (1) Who does the Branch refer to? (cf. 4:2)
