Isaiah 12:1-6
Key Verse 12:4 “In that day you will say: Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted.”
1. What is “that day” as we begin chapter 12? (cf. 11:1-4)
2. In times of disappointment and troubles, what do we have to remember? (1b-2; cf. Psalm 23:4)
3. Read Ephesians 2:8, 1 Corinthians 1:18, and Romans 13:11. From these references, what can we learn about our salvation? What are the wells of salvation and how can we draw water from them? (cf. John 4:13-14; John 7:38)
4. When we experience joy of salvation, what is our natural response? Why is it important not only to give thanks, but to testify to others? (4-6)
