In today’s passage, Jesus gives us two warning signs for our life journey: hypocrisy and fear. If we fear people, we will become hypocrites. To fear God is to love God and to trust God, to know that we are worth more than many sparrows, and that the hairs of our head are all numbered. May we fear and trust God and grow as Jesus’ faithful and fruitful disciples.
