Isaiah 40:1-31

Key verse 40:31 “but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

1. What is the situation of God’s people in verses 1-2? (cf. Ezra 2:1) How is the situation of sinful mankind similar?
