John 8:31-59
Key Verse 8:31,32 “To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, ‘If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.’”
1. What did Jesus say to those who believed him? (31) What does it mean to be a disciple of Jesus? (cf. Luke 9:23) How does holding on to Jesus’ teaching enable us to become Jesus’ disciples?
2. What is the truth that Jesus speaks of (cf. John 14:6) and how does it set us free? (32,36; cf. John 8:11-12)
