Luke 17:20-37
Key Verse 17:21 “nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is in your midst.’”
1. What kind of misunderstanding did the Pharisees have about the kingdom of God? (cf. Acts 1:6) What does it mean that the kingdom of God is in your midst? (20-21)
2. What will Jesus’ second coming look like? (24) What warning did he give his disciples? (23) How is Jesus’ second coming related to the kingdom of God? (cf. Revelation 11:15)
3. How are the days of the Son of Man similar to the days of Noah and the days of Lot? (26-29) What should we learn from these examples in Scripture? (cf. Luke 12:40)
