1. What does Jesus’ prayer, “Father, forgive them” mean to you?
* We don’t know/ignore what’s right and wrong, but Jesus is patient with us.
* Unaware of consequences.
* We can love and forgive others thru Jesus’ prayer.
* Jesus became our substitute- his substitutionary atonement.
* Our debt fully cancelled.
2. Why didn’t Jesus use his power as the Son of God to save himself?
* To complete the sacrifice on the cross
* That we could be spared & to bring life in abundance.
* To prove the principle of a kernel of wheat.
* Our every sins(burdens, shame, guilt) has been fully paid by Jesus.
* Joshua Harrie’s dream ” The room”: Jesus wrote down his name on our every “sin” cards.
* All our sins are washed away, forgiven by God. sin=men, forgiveness=God.
