To wash the feet of others is more than a suggestion to be kind and do good to them but a call to follow Jesus, to accept His love through His cleansing of our sins and embody His divine example in all aspects of our lives. I pray that through reflecting on the deeper meaning, we can better understand how Jesus reveals the full extent of His love for us as expressed in His humility, His forgiveness, His relationship with us and His commandment to us.
