“I AM THE BREAD OF LIFE”
John 6:16-40
Key Verse 6:35 “Then Jesus declared, ‘I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.’”
1. Why were Jesus’ disciples afraid when they saw Jesus walking on the water? (18-19; cf. Mark 6:52) How did Jesus encourage his disciples in the midst of their struggle? (20-21)
2. What was the crowd’s motive in trying to find Jesus? (22-26) What does it mean to work for food that spoils? (27; cf. Genesis 3:17-19) What is the food that endures to eternal life? (cf. John 4:14)
