When Christ died for our sins, he redeemed not only our spirits, but our bodies as well. Christ redeemed our whole person so that our whole person might belong to him. Christ wants to dwell in our whole being, body, mind and spirit. The Lord is interested in our bodies, their welfare, and their proper use. God wants our bodies to be presented as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to him. (Ro 12:1)
