Isaiah 1:1–2:5
Key Verse 2:3 Many peoples will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.” The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
1. Who is Isaiah? (1) What does God say about the people of Israel? (2–4) What is the result of their rebellion against God? (5-9)
2. Why are their sacrifices and prayers detestable to God? (10-15) What does God urge them to do? (16-17) What is God’s gracious promise to those who willingly obey him? (18-20)
