God’s Righteousness through Faith in Jesus

All sin is primarily against God. Salvation, whatever it is, then has to satisfy God. It has to satisfy his righteousness, his justice, his mercy, and his grace. He must be satisfied. And God determined that he would find his satisfaction in the death of Jesus Christ. Justice and mercy met at the cross. The cross glorifies God because it declares his righteousness.
