We are called to give ourselves to prayer and the ministry of the Word. The church grew because they prayed and they preached. The Spirit worked mightily among them because they prayed and they preached. Stephen could be faithful, graceful and courageous even in the face of certain death because he prayed and he preached. Therefore, I pray that every one of us may hold these two things in our hearts so that everything we think and do will radiate from this. Lord, fill us with Your Spirit so we may be full of faith, full of grace and full of power to do Your good work.
