God’s grace meets us in our worst moments and then turns them into wondrous worship-filled moments. He meets us in our rebellion and leads us to redemption. Judah might look back at this moment in his life which is an all-time low with some shame and humiliation. But he might also look back at this moment with a sense of wonder and awe at how far God went to meet him at his lowest and help him find his way back home. That is what extreme grace does; it takes our worst moments and when God’s grace touches, what should be a place of shame and humiliation actually becomes a place of wonder and awe at how great God’s grace is. Isn’t that true of the cross itself? We look and we see the worst moment of humanity and the best moment of God simultaneously coming together on our behalf.
