COUNTED WORTHY OF SUFFERING FOR JESUS
Acts 5:17-42
Key verse 5:41 “The apostles left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing because they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name.”

2. What did the apostles do as soon as they got out? (21) When they were rearrested, how did the apostles respond to the threat of the high priest? (27-29) Why were they no longer fearful of men? (cf. 4:19-20)
3. How did they use this opportunity to witness to Jesus and the gospel? (30-32) How did the Jewish leaders respond to their message? (33)
4. How did Gamaliel persuade the Jewish leaders to let the apostles go? (34-40)
5. Why did the apostles rejoice after being flogged? (41; 1 Peter 4:13-14) How did the apostles show their obedience to God’s command in verse 20? (42)
